Emma Wyatt

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with a diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Treatments, from the University of Reading. I offer psychological assessments and a range of CBT interventions for anxiety difficulties and low mood.

What I offer

I have worked in a secondary school environment for the last 20 years as a science teacher and pastoral tutor, and thus have significant experience of working with teenagers. I recently have decided to concentrate on clinical practice, in particular CBT, which I have used with young people with a variety of difficulties, including anxiety and low mood. I really enjoy working with young people and their families using this approach and have found that it works really well. My aim is to enable young people to learn and independently use these strategies both at the time of therapy and also in the future.

My qualifications are

  • PG Diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Treatments, University of Reading
  • PGCE in Secondary Education (Science), Brunel University
  • BSc (Hons) Zoology, University of Sheffield
